There's no "just getting over it" when a loved one has died. Grief takes time, and healing takes effort. Temple Mount Sinai offers grief support after the death of loved ones in a variety of ways, including...
- a series of supportive notes are sent, over the course of a year, to our members who've suffered the death of a parent, child, sibling, or spouse;
- a Grief Support session is offered before Yizkor on Yom Kippur Afternoon;
- Rabbi Bach is available for individual pastoral counseling related to grief and loss.
- many resources may be found in our library, in the Jo Ann Rothbardt Petersen Healing Resource Center.
If you have questions about receiving grief support through Temple, please be in touch.
